The technicolor traveltalk, "Land of the Quintuplets," being shown today and Friday at the Capitol Theatre along with the regular feature, is one of the best films of its kind ever to appear in North Bay.
These moving pictures in brilliant colors, showing the Dionne Quintuplets themselves, Dr. A. R. Dafoe, the Dafoe Nursery and adjacent buildings and the surrounding country, are fascinating, accurate and a decided credit to the producer.
It is doubtful if finer pictures of the fives sisters were ever screened. The "shots" of them at play, particularly the close-ups, are a treat which every Dionne Quint fan will not want to miss.
"When 5 are 8"...the world's five most famous little girls, the Dionne Quintuplets, are today celebrating their eighth birthday. Their millions of admirers are happy to know that the Quints have reached that ripe old age in such excellent health, appearance and atractiveness and wish them well for the future. No longer are they babes. The Quints are girls now, and they still remain the darlings of the continent. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU QUINTUPLETS! You can see them on this important occassion in their lives by attending the Capitol Theatre today and Friday and watch the Dionne girls perform in the technicolor film, "Land of the Quintuplets."
