The Dionne quintuplets joined "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at the State theater yesterday where the Walt Disney masterpiece began it's third and final week in Spokane. "Quintupland" presents the famous five sisters, now girls of 3 1/2 years, in a two-reel news offering made in Callander, Ontario, with the mercury 20 below zero.
Husky youngsters now, the quints in their white fur coats and hoods play in the deep snow, ski, slide on their little toboggan slide, shovel snow, spat, sing, see their first motion picture show, eat a meal, dress up in the nurses' garb and appear before the microphones.
Dr. A. R. Dafoe, the man who brought them into the world and now gives them his full time, appears in numerous scenes and in talks to the parents. The financial statement shows that the youngsters now have more than $600,000 in government bonds, proceeds of their motion picture work and their indorsement of various products.
A Pete Smith "audioscopic" novelty has also been added to the bill.
